How to use the Turning Point CD-ROM Toolkit
We hope you will find the Turning Point CD-ROM Toolkit easy to use, and that it makes your work in health improvement more effective every day.

The Toolkit is set up to navigate like a Web site. You will need a Web browser program (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Safari) to run it. You do not have to be connected to the Internet to use the CD, however you will find it very helpful if you are. The Toolkit includes links to many Web sites, and you will be able to automatically link to the sites if you are connected to the Internet.

Links to the Internet are current as of September 2005 and while efforts will be made to keep the links current, the Web is an ever-changing environment, so we apologize in advance if you encounter any broken links.

Most active links on the CD-ROM are underlined. We have indicated in brackets whether the links are PDF files or Web links. You can also click on images to activate links. Visited links will turn purple unless you have your preferences set differently.

Most of the resources contained on the Turning Point CD-ROM Toolkit are documents in Adobe PDF format. To open and read them, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, a widely-used program available free at www.adobe.com. [Web link]

If you would like to save a PDF to your computer you can go to the menu item "File" and select "Save As" and choose where you would like to save it. Feel free to share the PDF files on this CD-ROM with others, and to duplicate or order printed copies.

There are a few PowerPoint slide presentations included on the CD-ROM. To view these you will need Microsoft Office, including Microsoft PowerPoint.

If you have any trouble running the CD-ROM, please refer to the "read me" file that is included on the CD-ROM. If you continue to experience problems please contact Turning Point.
